We made it back
from Mozambique
for all you who were wondering and getting worried since you hadn’t heard from
me. Our time there went really well and we were able to help with many
different things. We ended up not having tough living conditions after all. We
stayed on a base owned by Iris
Ministries. Our time was
spent hanging out with the orphan boys who live there, occasional teaching at a
Bible School on the base, outreaches to surrounding villages and working on
random work projects. We also got to go to a prison and lead a service and go
into hospitals and pray for the sick.

     A quick recap of
what I learned this month was dependence on the Lord. There were situations
where I couldn’t do anything, but pray and that was exactly how God wanted it. The
things I saw at the hospital I will remember for a long time. It was so hard to
see people suffering and not really having the right medical care. I felt so unworthy
to lift them up before our father. I also am learning to live in the moment and
to be thankful for every moment the Lord gives me. I don’t want to miss out on
something the Lord has for me because I’m to busy thinking about the past or
the future. The present is where God works and I don’t want to miss out.

      Right now we are
currently in South Africa
trying to figure out how to get to Malawi. You could be praying that
we find good and cheap transportation there and that everything comes together.
Thank you so much for your prayers. Oh and my knee is doing tons better. It’s a
little sore still but almost completely better!
