After several days of much needed rest and preparation
living here in Nelspruit, South Africa while ministry locations were set
up, we are finally leaving for Mozambique
today! We are all very excited to get into the bush and aren’t sure as always
what to expect. The only things we know are that we will be working with an
orphanage and we have to try and pack with us as much food and water as we can,
as food will be really expensive where we are going. We may have a month of
eating rice, who knows! We will be living in our tents. So today we will set
off on a 20 hour bus ride to a city in Mozambique
where we will rest for a few hours then separate from some of our squad and
continue on a 13 hour bus ride to the city of Beira. Which we have been told is a costal
city and we hope we will be able to see the ocean! Oh and we probably won’t be able to get online so don’t be surprised if you don’t hear from me the whole time we are gone until we get back.

Praises and prayer requests:

 I dislocated my knee
last week while chasing a soccer ball. Praise that I was in a country with
medical care and was able to get crutches and see an orthopedic surgeon for
free! Praise God. Please pray that my knee heals quickly. Also pray for our
squad as we all go  off to different
ministry locations and as always pray for where we are going that we could be a
blessing to the people and God would work in our lives and their lives in
incredible ways. Thank you so much!
