I wanted to write a short blog asking for prayer. Right before we came here and when we were still in Bangkok, I experienced brief muscle spasms in my hand, which may or may not be related to my epilepsy. Through the night and the next day this continued occurring throughout my body. It also happened again a week later that was last Tuesday. As some of you know I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2005 and have had seizures here and there since then but not like this. I was on meds but went off of them a couple years ago do to the awful side effects. We will be leaving Selapume at the end of this week as we have reached the end of our time here. Since we will be in Bangkok for 1 1/2 days before traveling on to debrief it is the most convenient time to see a doctor. I have scheduled an appointment to see a neurologist the day that we get in. I don’t want people to worry about me as I’m in God’s hands but I would like prayer. Please pray for wisdom for the doctor. Pray that I have strength for the week ahead and wisdom when I’m at my appointment. I’m not sure if I really want to go back on medication due to side effects but I don’t want my seizures to get worse.
