There is so much to say about training camp that it’s hard to know what to share. We have had so many great teachings and so many team builders that have helped us to work together and become unified. It all has been so impacting, but I started feeling a little bit overwhelmed. I began feeling like I had to remember this and needed to do this and that. I didn’t ever realize I was feeling overwhelmed until we were asked to read so scriptures and think and pray about it then discuss it with our team. The scripture was 1 Corinthians 2:1-16. As I sat there reading God brought such a refreshment to my soul using just the first 5 verses.

     1 Corinthians 2:1-5
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the spirit’s power, so that your faith might now rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.
These verses reminded me again that its not about what I can or can’t do but about God’s power to accomplish his will through the Holy Spirit. So wherever you find yourself today remember that you may feel weak but allow the Holy Spirit to work through you to tell people about our powerful God.
