If you had told me six months ago that I would be screaming and shouting to Jesus… on a chair… in an abandoned bar… I would have kindly said "nope."
I actually probably would have chuckled as I said it too.
But then I was called to the World Race. Then I was put on team Cherished Flame. Then I was sent to Albania.
Then Satan attacked.

figures hovering over your bed,
having night terrors,
RE-experiencing past struggles over and over again,
and feeling oppressed." – Olivia Gill
"Worship changes things. It changes the atmosphere of a place."
So we went to worship.
We went to our meeting place – an abandoned corner bar on top of the local internet cafe that Campus Crusades rents out. We plugged in the trusty iPod. We took our shoes off. We welcomed the Spirit of the LIVING GOD into that place (for where He is – darkness flees!).
Before I knew it, arms were in the air, knees were on the ground, smiles were from ear to ear, the voices louder, the speakers turned up, and worship came into its fullness.
I found myself smiling so big that I was LAUGHING.
At one point I had trouble praising like this. At training camp, I thought people were nuts. But now-a-days I find myself not being able to stay still. How can I NOT praise with all I have?
God showed up.
Darkness fled.
Chains fell off.
We are free.
That's grounds for some PRAISE, people.
