When I left to go on the World Race, I had every intention of creating a prayer team and emailing them prayer requests with regularity (monthly, weekly, fill-in-the-blank…). But that never happened. I didn’t follow through. It wasn’t a priority.

And you know what? My Race was still an amazing journey. God provided all the necessary funds regardless and He spoke to me in powerful ways. It was a transformational year. God still used me and He was faithful.

Recently, God has been talking to me a lot about who He created me to be. I get these amazing pictures and visions of what my life could look like, and what a life like that could be used to do in the Kingdom. And I get excited. REALLY excited. But fairly quickly, the realization sets in: I don’t exactly recognize the person in those visions. Me. Myself. And frustration usually sets in.

How am I supposed to get there? How am I supposed to be the person I was created to be, when all I know how to do is be who I’ve always been? This is the question that’s been plaguing me throughout my first month in the Fellowship – and slowly but surely God has guided me to an answer.

BE INTENTIONAL.

I finally got around to creating that prayer support team – the one I intended to create – when I started my Fellowship program. One month ago. And God has used it to show me that if I’m willing to be intentional – not just have good intentions – He’s willing to make things happen. Things like answering prayers every week and making that person in the visions not only recognizable, but fully attainable.

In this blog, I simply want to celebrate the answered prayers and share them with you. In only four weeks of being intentional with my prayer team and sending out email updates, God has done this on my behalf:

  1. Made first financial deadline of $3,000

  2. Found a church I can sow into

  3. Progress made toward my fundraising goals (additional monthly and new donors)

  4. Increased my awareness of His presence last week

  5. Humbled me by a donation from a squadmate to my Fellowship program

He also threw in some unwritten prayers:

  1. Bringing a squadmate here to GA

  2. Getting to do the 30-day Intentional Living program for FREE

Our God is amazingly faithful! Thanks God! Amen!

I want to challenge you as well. Is there something God is laying on your heart that you could be moving more intentionally toward? He’s ready to abundantly bless you – if you’re willing to turn your good intentions into intentional action. Don’t allow yourself to not take the next step simply because you’re unable to see the whole staircase.

For His Glory,

Natalie
