Hi all!
After a very busy first week and a half back in the States, there’s been a lot to process and reflect upon as I transition to being back home (blogs to come soon!). Turning my eyes toward the next few months, there’s so much I’m looking forward to: Project Searchlight with my squad, visiting my Minnesota family (so excited I can hardly stand the wait!), and moving to Georgia to begin my next season in the AIM Fellowship program (read a blog on that here: Welcome to the Fellowship).
That being said, I need your help. My first fundraising deadline for the fellowship program is quickly approaching ($3,000 by September 1st) and my status is currently at $0. The Lord has pressed upon me that this fundraising process will look very different from my Race – and that my dependency on Him and His provision will greatly increase as a result. For the promise of that, I’m saying “Yes” once again to His plan for the sometimes painful and scary process of raising support.
As a reader of this, I’m asking a few things of you:
- Please pray for God to stir the hearts and raise up those who He is calling to become my financial supporters and partners and that they would respond in obedience to His call.
- Please prayerfully consider becoming one of my financial supporters. From $20 to the $9,950 I need to raise to become fully funded, each donation brings His vision for my life closer to being fulfilled.
- Please share this freely among your various platforms as you feel led. I had the great opportunity this past year to bless and be blessed by others I’ve met through a mutual contact or friend. It would be a privilege to do the same through you this year.
- Please consider joining my dedicated prayer team and committing to pray for me weekly as I journey through the fellowship program and beyond. Since returning from the Race, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with individuals who prayed for me throughout – and standing now on this side of it, I can tell you with absolutely certainty that it made all the difference.
- Please ask questions. Want to hear about how I was led to the Fellowship? Need to know more about the program? I’m only one email ([email protected]), message, or phone call (message me for my number if you don’t have it!) away. And I would love to tell you all about it.
- Finally, I’m looking for opportunities to share about my experiences and journey on the Race. If you have a youth group, a home group, are looking at going on the Race or heading on a mission trip yourself – I want to talk to you! I’ve been blessed beyond nearly all comprehension and belief this year and I fully believe that this so you might be blessed in some way. Please give me a call or send me an email/message to set something up that works for you.
