As many of y’all know next year instead of going to college, I will be taking a gap year and going on a mission trip. I will be spending three months in India, three months in Malaysia, and three months in Zambia. As my senior year in high school begins to come to an end, I am getting more and more excited and nervous to leave home. Everyone is talking about their plans for next year and as they all talk about what colleges they are all attending, I get the chance to talk about my mission trip. This has been God’s plan for a long time, even when I questioned Him. When I first felt the call from God to go on this mission trip, I was very unsure and uncertain. This is a huge step out of my comfort zone, but God continually reminds me that I can do anything in and through Him. Even when I thought this is not MY plan, God reminds me that it is HIS plan and that this trip is for me! As i prepare to leave the United States in October, I am ready to see God’s plan carried out. I know He has great things planned for me and my team. With y’alls prayer and support, I will be able to be strong and fearless as I take on India, Malaysia, and Zambia. Even with many doubts and fears, I am confident that this is God’s ultimate plan for me and my life!
