Hello from Romania!
I just wanted to send out a notice saying that I'm alive and even have access to internet for a while (Europe- even eastern Europe- is a million years away from India and Nepal).
I also want to send out an apology to everyone who I haven't been keeping in contact with. All of the missed skype dates, all of the emails that were just a few lines, all of the things that I never said… I'm so sorry. I want to be able to talk to you all the time. I want to tell you what's going on here and I SO want to know what's going on there. I want to stay involved in your lives and I want you to be a part of mine.
I'm learning, though, that when your internet access is less than an hour a week, that's not really possible, even if you try your best.
Again, I'm sorry.
Please still send me emails with updates on your lives, but also understand that when I don't reply, it's not because I don't like you, it's because I'd rather send a little reply than none at all. But every message is like a little gift from home, and I love getting them.
