I know I haven’t been doing a very good job of posting pictures while in Africa so wanted to do this review of the past three months in pictures.

Definently the highlight of Africa has been the children, they are so precious and everywhere we went they were so eager to speak to us. We were treated like celebrities and the people were so gracious and served us so well.  I will always remember the kindness of strangers and the love of these people.

These children are from Kenya

Walking through a villiage in Kenya we spotted these cuties

This is my friend Grace

Our last sunday in Uganda we posed for “snaps” with our contact and some others from the church

We painted signs with scripture and left them hanging at an orphanage in Uganda

Some Massi children in a villiage in Tanzania

One day in Tanzania we went out to a remote Massi villiage.  It took a two hour bus ride a 30 minute motorbike taxi and a walk through the woods to find it. Here with Sarah and Liliana

The rest of the group that went that day and some of our new friends

This was a man we met that day.  He is Massi and the leader of his tribe. They told us he is over 100 years old. I don’t know if you noticed but his ear lobe touches his shoulder.

A personal highlight for me of being in Africa was the chance to go on a safari.  It was amazing and well worth the wait.  We talked about it for three months and finally got to go in Tanzania.

A beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean.  We took two days and relaxed on the island of Zanzibar off the coast of Tanzania before our trek back to Asia.

In the past five days we have been on a whirlwind travel schedule;
On Thursday I was in Zanzibar
On Friday I was in Tanzania
On Saturday I was in Kenya
On Sunday I was in Thailand
On Monday and today I am in Cambodia
We are on route to Vietnam leaving by bus tomorrow

Continue to pray for my team as we head into month 10 of this journey.  Vietnam is a closed country meaning that we are not able to openly speak to people about Jesus and need to be very careful as the government openly persecutes Chrisitans.  I will not be blogging while in country but will update you all after the month is over.
