Sometimes when we are in the middle of something crazy like sitting in the back of a pick up truck with 14 other people in the pouring rain or when I gaze at the beauty all around me I think about what I would be doing back home. I realize that this is living and that was just watching life role by.
Did you know that in the bible it says do not fear 200 times? Fear is an emotion that ricks us into living a boring life. Fear is what holds us back from doing exciting things or meeting new people. I think for many years fear was ruling my life. I was afraid to get off my couch and try new things even though I didn’t know it. I was afraid for many months to sign up to the world race and even though it has been hard I am glad that I did. Because with out this I would still be living in fear.
I will write more later since church is about to start but I am praying that each one of you also steps out of fear and into the joy and wonderful experiences that you will have if you do.
