I spent this past week in the
beautiful Toccoa Falls, Georgia. Beautiful doesn’t always mean pleasant. It
rained pretty much every day, or maybe it just felt like it because of the thickness
of humidity and the beads of sweat that never stopped rolling from our foreheads. Needless to say it was quite a
week!

As I set up my tent the first
night and crawled in after a late night convo I sat there staring up at the top
of my tent where bugs moved freely and sounds of wildlife and snores of my
neighbors filled the air…

Me- “So this is it God?”

God- “Yup”

Me- “Are you sure about this? I
mean maybe you should just confirm it some more”

God- “Just you wait and see”

Confirm it He did over and over and
still over again.

This past week I not only met 63
plus people but I met with Him.

1. He showed me that in high
school I was saved but just wasn’t weeding my garden (meaning I let weeds grow
(sin) and didn’t pull them up at the first sign of development)

2. He showed me that the law had
bound me and I thought it had worked for a while (working my way to Jesus by
doing doing doing) but it was time to be set free from the law.

3. It’s OK to not be ok.

4. Just simply be. Be who I am in
Him. I don’t need to perform for anyone, especially Him.

5. We are as sick as the secrets
we keep. We have to speak the truth even when a lie seemingly would “work
better”.

6. Obedience flows out of a
passionate relationship with Jesus Christ not out of religious duty.

7. The law of love is higher than
any other law.

8. We must grieve the painful
losses of our past seasons in order to effectively embrace the present and the
future. Grieving is necessary so we don’t deaden our hearts (loss of vision
and hope) or compartmentalize our lives (pretend that we aren’t hurt).

9. The key to all ministry is
intimacy with God.

10. Always invite the Holy Spirit
to come.

Not only did He show me these truths but He used them to bring me such FREEDOM! Freedom to walk in the gifts He has given me

A lot took place this past
week, so much more than I can say in one post. Here is just one of many incredible stories of God working this week!

Thanks for watching and reading! I pray we would all walk more in the authority God has given us in Christ and through the Holy Spirit to really believe that the dead WILL rise, the blind WILL see, the deaf WILL hear, the mute WILL talk, and the lame WILL walk!! I believe Lord, help us with our unbelief.
