Nepal is one of the most unreached countries in the world. Only 1.4% proclaim to be Christian.

I have yet to meet a Christian in Nepal that has not been persecuted for their faith.

In 2006, Our contact and his family had to go into hiding after several church bombings happened in the area. Our ministry host was beaten every day and had people break into his home often. I met a woman that had been beaten and thrown out of her village for believing in Christ. Her husband and children completely shunned her and left her all by herself. Thankfully, God blessed her with a home in a surrounding village. She knows that, even though she is alone, God is with her.

In the midst of all the persecution, so much joy and faith flows out of these people! They find their acceptance in Christ, not in man. That really got to me. We don't know what that kind of suffering and faith is in the States. What faith that is to believe in something that goes against everything you've been told. How many "christians" in the States would give up their homes, their family, their friends, everything to believe in a God that no-one-else believes in?

Many believers are unable to read, so the only time they get the Word poured into them is at church. They don't drag into church like a duty, they go excited to hear what God has for them! That kind of faith walk is so encouraging to me!

What they lack in numbers, they make up for in passion. Seeing the believers here, really made me reflect on my relationship with the Lord. Thank you, God, for the believers in Nepal. I thank You for the faith testimony they have been in my life.

I pray that their would be an abundant increase of people surrendering to You in Nepal!
