World Race. Month 4. Team Change.

What do all of these things have in common?

The oxy moron, chaotic peace.

Cycling in Cambodia with part of team MARVELous Avengers.

I think month 4 is when you experience a big shift in your race.
At least, It has definitly been a big turning point in my journey.

I didn't understand why on earth we had to do team changes. My team had
grown into my family and we were serving really well together. "If it ain't
broke, don't fix it"…right?

It's been 1 week since team change. I can totally see why this was beneficial
for my spiritual walk.

It's like having a puppy. If you leave the puppy and come back a week later,
you notice just how much it's grown! If you never leave the puppy, you can
tell it has grown, but you don't notice the change as drastically.

By being placed with new people, I have noticed just how much I have changed
in 4 months…

There are ants in the cucumbers? …Eat around them.
There's a rat in the bed?… It happens.
The kids in my lap have lice?… It's worth it.
There's no air conditioning?… What's air conditioning?

Loving on a sweet child of God.

I am a BOLD woman of Christ.
Teaching children is a gift of mine.
I am great at developing relationships with all kinds of people.
I love to share what God has shown me through scripture.
My heart is bursting at the seams for so many people in various countries.
I am abounding in compassion.
I am a cultured young lady. 😉
I am a prayer warrior.
I am more than enough.

Teaching my students about Jesus

I am NOT bragging. I am sharing with you the work Christ has done in my life,
in 4 short months. I feel like a completely different person. I am a completely
different person. God has flipped my selfishness into selflessness and that has
changed every thing.

Ministering to the monks

I can't imagine a day without holding a child in my arms, hearing them giggle,
playing games with them, and telling them how much they are loved.

I can't imagine a day without shining the light of Christ upon dark nations.

I can't imagine a day without trying to find a new way to serve those around me
better.

I can't imagine a day without trying to bless our contact and ministry hosts.

I can't imagine a day without sharing my "highs" and "lows" to 6 amazing team members.

I can't imagine a day without speaking in broken english to people! I have gotten really
great at speaking with broken english!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Playing with some precious children!

I appreciate your encouragement and support, more than you know! It is such
a blessing for me to be able to serve Christ like this. I wouldn't trade this
year for anything. It has not been easy, but it is so worth it.

I know more hard times will come, but I know growth comes in the midst.

I have about 7 and a 1/2 months left on the race! I can't imagine what I am
going to look like after that! Thank you, Lord, for not letting me stay the same.

In order to continue my race, I need $3,200.
That means, you have blessed me with $12,300.
I am pretty blown away by that!
It just goes to show that the Lord provides.
I am not going to beg for your money, because I know God is faithful!
So, I will just say…Give if He tells you to give!

I love you all, so much!
Kisses from Cambodia 🙂
