It’s been a hot minute since I last updated everyone. As I was looking through my old post, I realized that I haven’t written a blog since India which at times feels like last week, and others—a lifetime ago.

I am sorry that my blogging hasn’t quite lived up to my expectations, but I have tried to continue to give updates via email and social media post. If you want to know where I’ve been and what life has looked like for me over the past few months check those out and it will give you a pretty good idea.

QUICK UPDATE:

I am now in Central America. (AKA—The greatest place in the world.) I spent my first month here in El Salvador which is where I got to spend my last month with team AuROARa.

My last team was incredible in every way, and so was El Salvador. Coming to Central America was like a breath of fresh air that I didn’t even expect. Asia holds such a special place in my heart and it was incredibly hard to say goodbye too, but Central America is so familiar and just feels like home. I don’t think I realized how much of a foreign disconnect I was feeling until I felt connected to the people around me again. The Latin American culture is one that I have always loved and now get to experience.

There were many tears as I had to say goodbye to El Salvador and part ways with team AuROARa last month, but so goes the story of the race of finding comfortability and then moving out of comfort zones.

Now the Lord has brought team Soul Tribe together to Honduras working with a ministry called Connect Global.

It’s incredible how accelerated things can be on the race. Each time we say goodbye to something we love and I show the Lord that I trust Him with my story, He blows me away by what He brings next. We have only been here one week, and I am so rapidly falling for Honduras, the people, and this ministry.
I could talk about all of those forever, but for now I just want to take the time to introduce you to some incremental people for the work of the Kingdom here in Honduras.

Meet the Moffitt family. Travis, Geena and their son Noah.

They are basically angels.

These are our host for this month here in Honduras, and I am so incredibly thankful that the Lord has placed them in my life! Their vision from the Lord is to raise up Honduran Missionaries to send out to other parts of the world such as the middle east. Their vision, passion, discernment and wisdom has completely blown our entire team away. Their relationship with the Lord and love they have for people is the kind that makes you eager to know the Lord the way they do. I know that the Lord has blessed us with them knowing that they are the people that would speak life into this new team and help us to build the foundation of Soul Tribe around Christ.

If you want to know more about their ministry please check them out here. There are incredible ways that you can get involved and be a part of the incredible work they are doing.

Also if you want to follow my journey for this month a little more closely, you can follow their ministry on Facebook where Travis is all about that Facebook live. He is often posting videos, photos or streaming live while we are at ministry.

All for now friends. I’m hoping to write some stories up soon.

My prayer for now is for Soul Tribe. As a new team we want to be completely rooted in Christ and build our foundation of community around Him. I speak against all that the enemy will bring against us and speak from faith that the Lord has a plan and purpose for this team. I also want you to be in prayer with me over Honduras and Connect Global. Specifically Connect Global’s fundraising efforts for a new maternity ward at a local hospital to house new mothers that are still recovering from labor and have children being cared for in the NICU.
