Alllrighty, so heres the scoop.
Long post so hang in there, please please please join me in prayer for the things listed below.

I am currently in Kampong Cham, Cambodia!
1. I have a new team!! (Colt, Daniel, Mary, Mariah, Lyndsey)
The heart behind this is to help us continue to grow. Honestly, at first I was not fond of this aspect of the race, but I am thankful for these new team mates and I trust leadership knows what is best. But don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore these humans.
2. Ministry this month is incredible!!
We start out our days at 8am with team worship and Bible study.
Monday, Tuesday, Friday- We got to a small village called “42 houses” and play with the children there. There is a huge language barrier but I know they feel the love of Jesus through our hugs.
The vision for this mission is to keep building relationships and friendships with the people there in hopes of planting a church.
This village is very dirty and there are many needs that need to be met.
Wednesday- We got to Buddhist temples and pray and worship there. We shout from the rooftops the name of the Lord.
Thursday- We go to an Island about 15 km from Kampong Cham and pray for the people there. About 7,000 people live on this island and 7 different villages. The gospel has not reached these people.. As a team we go and pray for the people who God is calling to this island, we pray for hearts to be soften and claim that island as God’s island.

Every afternoon I teach a classroom of 45, 15 year olds English. This has been extremely hard for me personally because grammar has never been my strong subject, but its good because I see the Lord working through my weaknesses. (but really should have paid attention in 9th grade English)

PRAYER REQUEST:
– Kampong Cham, Cambodia is in need of full time “workers”/ missionaries. Pray for the people who are considering moving here and for the few people that are here for perseverance to keep pushing in.

– Sometimes the language barrier is extremely discouraging because I want everyone to know Jesus right away, but I am learning every part of the process is necessary. So prayers to keep pushing in when sometimes we feel like what we are doing is so small.

– Prayers for the current workers here in Kampong Cham, and specifically the workers at the youth center we are working at!

– Prayers for 42 houses village and the hearts there. Also just practical needs like clothes, food, etc.

-Prayers for my new team as we learn to do life together.

-Last month was a hard month for me spiritually, extremely hard, to the point of almost leaving the race, BUT after talking to leadership and The Lord I have decided that leaving is not an option (actually the Lord decided that) and so this month to be able to push in harder I have decided to not talk to home. THIS MEANS NOT TALKING TO FRED AND LINDA FOR 3 WEEKS. WHAT IS LIFE ANYMORE. but this time has been really good for me. I
have learned to turn to my heavenly Father before I go to my earthy father/mother, so prayers for this season. (also those who have hit me up, Im not ignoring y’all, just not communicating with home right now. also, Linda Bonds- Pratt Im alive, Im doing good, I miss yalls voices. Talk to you so soon, and I love y’all to Cambodia and back 53 times <3)

-Prayers for me, Im going to be extremely real, this thing is hard. Fighting for joy, fighting to keep pushing in, fighting to choose to be present every single day. The Lord is pruning
tender places in my heart and honestly it would be easier to walk away and just go back to being comfortable, but I am holding onto the promise that this is worth it in the end.
It is hard to see pantless kids, hungry babies, dirty homes, bruised new borns, angry dads. I want to fix it. I want to tell them about Jesus. I want Jesus to fix it, but the Lord hasn’t called me to harvest right now. He has called me to sow and plant and water this season. I know its not in vain, but its hard.

Y’all, this is a journey, and it has highs and lows, but I am in a low and a high seems so far away.
Thanks for fighting with me, thanks for loving me, thanks for all you guys do. Please please please keep myself and my new team in your prayers. Don’t be afraid to reach out with any questions comments or concerns.

“for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms,”
Ephesians 6:12

keep warring with me, y’all are a crucial part of winning this battle

with all my love
