I am so excited about this adventure I can barely stand it! To think that God has allowed me to do his kingdom work though 11 countries is beyond amazing. Some people may be wondering where in the world I am going. Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Ireland, Bulgaria, Moldova, and Romania. Now, from what my team-mates have gathered we will be traveling in this order unless otherwise notified. There is no great detail yet on the specifics of what we will be doing in each country but we do have a general idea….over the next few weeks I would like to share with you my research from each country and how God is dealing with my heart in regards to the ministry needs in each region. Cuz really folks there are so many needs still out there in the world. There is great work to be done. I do not really have a country that I am looking forward to the most however, I am thinking that S E Asia is going to be such a grand adventure. I love Thai food too

I can say this though, God is really dealing with my heart in regards to missions. Now, it must be understood that I have only been on two mission trips outside of the US and they were both amazing experiences and God really showed me who I was created to be. Also, there are some kids and adults who are walking around with healthy teeth, and a family with a roof over their heads as a result of those two trips. With that being said there are so many people who are out there ready and willing to criticize those who feel called to leave the US mission field for a time to run off and “save the world.” While yes, saving  the world does sound like a ton of fun…I’m pretty sure Jesus has that covered and will be coming down from glory on a beautiful cloud to grab his kido’s. I think that we forget that we are all called to different things. Some are called to local missions and inner-city missions, others are called to international medial missions, and others are called to other areas of the world to minister. I am not sure that I could put the WR in a category if I had to. There are so many different ways to talk about this mission. On one hand we are coming together to learn how to function as a body of Christ and live in true community. I am hoping that this will give me a clearer idea of what my calling actually is. Then there is the other hand where we get to work with ministries all over the world and come along side them to help build up their church/ministry. I am pretty sure that is what we are called to do right? Ok, this blog was not really supposed to be dedicated to this subject…but I got inspired as I was typing. So there it is. I guess the point I am trying to make is that this mission, while it is so very exciting is no more important than anything else going on here and now and I don’t expect to ‘save the world” just come along side it and help out.
