I love having this blog to share stories, thoughts and experiences, but I hate that it’s fairly one sided.
This is straight forward but if you are reading this blog please e-mail me or leave me a comment, let me know what’s going on with your life.
Comments and e-mails encourage me like crazy!
Check out the “Cool Pictures” link, I posted some awesome new Safari pictures, but this computer is having issues so I can’t copy them to the blog.

I’ve been thinking about home a lot lately.
  What is home?
  Where is mine?
When I imagine home I think of the condo I had in

Carlsbad,
CA, and I have to remind my self that it’s gone, rented to some other tenant.
For some reason being far away brings new perspective on home, and living in so many different “homes” makes me dream about what I eventually want for mine.
We just hit the half way point and my thoughts might be a little premature but I can’t seem to dismiss them.

I have learned and changed a lot this year.
My desire to have a career or a “good job” has lessened while my desire for a family has increased.
My personal space bubble has popped (living in a house with 75 people will do that to you) and after discovering true community I want to live that way for the rest of my life, even though it’s super hard and messy at times.

Through all these changes my aspiration to train, inspire and mobilize Americans in short term missions has persevered.
I dream of seeing the church in the

United States awakened to what’s happening in the world.
I want the passion and commitment that Christians have in some of the places I’ve visited brought back to

America.
More then anything else my prayer is for my generation to live the abundant life that Jesus offers and few receive.
