Last Thursday,
I walked into the fellowship hall, ready for a regular night of Green Room, our young adults’ ministry.
The first thing I noticed was that a lot of my friends from three0, a different group at the church, were there.
That wasn’t quite enough to clue me in, I just thought that maybe they all decided to come to Green Room at the same time.

Some where in the rush of everyone yelling surprise and seeing my blog larger then life on the screens I realized that it was actually my going away party.
  What a wonderful night.
Lots of people I love, great food from around the world, time with both old and new friends.
I am blessed to have a great
community, and I’m humbled by the fact that they choose to celebrate my leaving in such a special way.

I am thankful that as I prepare for the race that I don’t face this journey alone.
Not only do I have beautiful teammates waiting, but I have a strong support network making this all possible.
It’s not just me going on this race, it’s everyone who is praying, who has supported financially, read my blog, or helped in any other way.
This support is propelling me into the World Race.
