So, I’m sure that many of
you have been wondering what I’ve been doing with my time in New Zealand. I’m
excited to share with you what we have been involved with! While we were at Launch, we stayed in Mata Mata which is where the set of Lord of the Rings is.

After our Launch in Mata
Mata we came to Tauranga to work with a church that is located here. We are
staying at Faith Bible College in our tents, however we do have pretty nice
bathrooms (always a plus!). Last week we worked at a church here called
Changepoint (http://changepoint.co.nz/).
They host Tauranga House of Prayer (THOP) each morning from 8 am-12 pm where musicians
play for 4 hours. People come to pray, read, and worship. It was such an
amazing way to start off our days. Then each afternoon we would work on church
maintenance. I pressure washed for the first few days- never done that before!
We also painted the balcony that went all the way around the church. There was
an orchard behind the church, so on our breaks we got to go and eat fresh
picked plums, apples, and oranges- so good! The hosts that we had were AMAZING!
They cooked us lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and fresh strawberries with ice
cream- it was incredible! (especially when you’ve been eating PB&J for 2
meals a day- ha!) They also took us to a local waterfall one afternoon that was
beautiful! This country is the most beautiful place I have ever been to- the
grass is greener, the sky is bluer and everything just seems so much more vivid
and vibrant!

This is the Marble Family who were our contacts in New Zealand-
                                                                                     they blessed us so much!

It has been awesome to see
how God has totally provided for our stay here and met our every need. For
example: The van that we had at the beginning of last week was only was only
supposed to be ours until Tuesday, however we ended up getting to keep it until
Friday. Also, at the beginning of the week we were making 3-4 shuttles every time
we went anywhere because it was only a 6-7 person van. The second or third day
we were there, we were down to one ride because people from the church helped
come pick us up, which totally saved us a lot of gas. When you start living
simply , you see how God works through the small things- to Him be the glory!
