So I wrote this blog while I was at training camp, but was never able to post it:

 

So, training camp has been quite the experience! I can’t
reveal too much about what we have done, because we don’t want to ruin the
surprises for future world racers…but let’s just say that we start around 6:45
every morning and end around 10:30 or so. 
Each day has been PACKED FULL of things to equip us for the huge journey
we are about to embark on.  There
are awesome people here who love and serve God with their whole heart.  I am so excited to serve with such
genuine people who are filled with SO much passion and joy!


 

 Some things I have learned since coming to good ole Georgia!

-I can survive taking ONE shower over a 9-10 day period.
-I can survive with no electricity (headlamps are my friend!)
or running water in FREEZING cold weather!
-I need to throw all expectations for this trip out the
window!
-God speaks a lot more than I care to listen-which I will
continue to work on!
-We don’t have permission to be insecure-there is too much to
do for the Kingdom!
-God has already exchanged my heart of stone for a heart of
flesh-when God looks at me, He sees the heart that HE has placed inside of ME!
-God is not interested in my comfort or entertainment-He is
interested in my character.


 

These lyrics from the song Hosanna have really just been on
my heart for the past week that I’ve been here:
