This is the blog that persevered… birthed month one in the DR, finally posted month ten in Moldova. Lol. God's taught me a lot about perseverance on the race. Enjoy the journey, stop worrying so much about the "when."
The cool thing about looking back on these pictures of when it all started for us, is that we're going to be entering into a new chapter of our life "race" in 45 days… when we head back home to the states. And my thought is the same as how this blog ended… Here we go! π

First things first. Launch pics…
Here's my team. "The Dunamisses"

…. yeah, we rock!
Next, the J squad gals.

That's a lot of love and a lot of estrogen. Sorry fellas, you were in a meeting. π
Now… On to the Dominican Republic….
The squad gets split in two for travel day and half of us must wait for our other half for about 7 hours in the airport.
So, what can you do in an airport for 7 hours? Well, let the J squad show you….
You can blog and read and somewhat watch your luggage.

You can take up space with your luggage…. and have some good Bible study time.

You can eat and listen to music. Sorry mom, not the healthiest meal for my first one in the DR, but it was GOOD! π

You can consider a dance party.

And then have one! Mad props to Hannah for getting the party started! Unfortunately, not everyone will participate. But…

The security guards WILL join in. Yeah, that's what their looking (and laughing) at. π

And the security guards will continue to dance.

You can join the dance revolution or you can watch and laugh in enjoyment!

You can tune your guitar.

And then play it while others pose for a pic. Isn't she cute! Love my Laura!

And while others continue to DANCE! Oh yeah, it's grown into the walkway. It's pretty late by this time, the airport crowd has seriously thinned, and the security guards joined in earlier. So, we're thinking we're pretty good and can fully relish in our spirit of freedom and joy! Look at that leap! I give it a 10!

You can pose for a pic with some of your squad family. Love!

You can shoot two thumbs up to me. π Justin rocks! And so does my squad's attitudes!

And get some good card games going. Tell em' Annie!

You can play and talk music with a local. No need for words.

You can lovingly and in a ROCKSTAR way welcome your other half to the DR!!!!
(sorry no pic for this. I was busy cheering, giving hugs, clapping, and videoing others giving hugs, cheering and clapping) ;D
And…..

You can SEND US OUT!
Here we GO!
