Over the course of the last 6 months since I committed to the World Race, I've had a number of blog ideas that have come to me that didn't make it to post status. Well, here they are…
1. "Live for the line, not the dot." ~ Living for eternity, not the moment.
2. "I'm a soul with a body led by the Spirit." ~ Exeriencing a season of being led by God and feeling more alien in this world than ever, but in an awesomely good way! Realizing I'm truly a soul with a body, not a body with a soul.
3. "Canoeing Bear Creek" ~ God refuels me through quiet time with Him and energizes me through fellowship with others.
4. "My soul magnifies the Lord." ~ A season of fasting and leaning on God; where my spirit tells my flesh what to do, not the other way around. Seeing that with God nothing will be impossible.
5. "In the land of "just enough" and fully taken care of." ~ What is NEED and what is WANT? Discerning the difference and being amazed at how God provides and completely takes care of me.
6. "Bucket Showers" ~ A weekend of God's love bucket turned over!!!
7. "Getting there." ~ A picture blog of events along the way. Including "Car banners and late night drives." ***Note: this one is still to come. It's just too good not to post on its own. 😉 ***
8. "The desert isn't punishment, it's preparation." ~ A season of God preparing me to lean more on others and more on HIm. I cannot do this without my brothers and sisters and absolutely not without God. Life is not meant for us to do alone. Dependence does not equal slacking off.
9. "God will give me the words." ~ In ministering, in speaking, in blogging, in stepping out in faith, in doing His work; God will give me the words.
10. "Taking back my temple." ~ Growing a healthier relationship with food. Relying more on God as my comfort, and claiming wellness over my physical body.
11. "Faith is a muscle, you must exercise it." ~ Faith is like a rubber band, it's only good when it's stretched…and used. If I'm going to pray in faith, I must stay in faith.
12. "A love stronger than fear." ~ His love overcomes all.
13. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Let's start with the freedom not to shave." ~ Experiencing and coming to a new understanding of freedom in Jesus at Training Camp and weeks after… in all areas of life. 😉 ***Note: this one may be rebirthed and posted once I'm out in the field.***
Peace, love, hugs, and high-fives.
Monica
