Our ministry this month is at a camp called the Seventh Springs. The camp is tucked away in a little village outside of a town called Lipiva. The village its self is called Sixth Springs, because there are six’s different springs in the tiny village. When the construction of the camp was underway they found a seventh spring, thus the name came to be of the camp Seventh Springs.
In the summer, the camp sees over 800 children from the ages 5- 18. In the off season the camp is where many churches hold conferences, and youth group retreats. This is not your normal log cabin camp. The main building is very big, and almost looks like a modern day castle because of the castle like towers on both sides of the building. On the two upper floors of the main building there are dorms like rooms that hold 3-4 people to each room. The main building holds 58 people. The children’s dorm is only used in the summer, because there is no heat and really no uses for it in the off season. The children’s dorm holds 150 at a time.
This month our job is anything that Michael (the boss) tells us to do. So far we…
Stacked fire wood
Prune the bushes in the front of the main building
Rake all the leaves around the main building
Clean out the trash in the grass

Putting stuff in away from the grass.
Burn the leaves

Sand the metal gates

Paint the already sanded gates
Burn the grass (only is certain places)
Help cook in the kitchen if there is a group coming in for a weekend or for just the day
That was all this past week, most of the stuff we finished. We still need to finish painting the gates and burn the rest of the leaves. Whatever needs to be done we will do it.
We are God’s hands and feet, and we are here to get things done in his name!
