I am so happy to be going to Eastern Europe! For one reason I have never been, but actually before the race I have never been outside the United States. I’m especially happy to see the buildings of Eastern Europe, for I heard they are so old, and so beautiful. Also I love to travel and see other parts of the world, and see the difference in the cultures.
So the first place we will be heading to is going to be… are you ready for it… are you sure…?
Albania is my first Eastern European country. So I was totally blown away, I thought it would have been a different one, like Ukraine or maybe Poland. Either way I am very happy, because a new country means, new contacts, and new people that need our help. I don’t know much about Albania so I’m going give some info on the country right now.
Albania– known as the Republic of Albania which is a country in Southeast Europe, in the Balkans region. The countries that bordered Albania are Montenegro to the northwest, Serbia to the northeast, the Republic of Macedonia to the east and Greece to the south and southeast. It has a coast on the Adriatic Sea.
- Religion in Albania consists of 70% Muslims, 20% Orthodox Christians, and 10% Roman Catholics.
- The dominant and official language is Albanian
- The capital is Tirana

Weather in Albania is in the mind 70’s. I was very surprise to here for its going into their winter. That doesn’t mean it can change.
I’m happy to be going into a new country to meet new people, and help people in need. For God is all over the place, and we help his people that are in need our help, and his help.
