Costa Rica Wrap Up
Costa Rica blessed me more than I could have ever thought and is crazy to me that that chapter in my life is already done. These two words describe my month: laughs and quietness.
Laughs- I spent a good chunk of my time laughing. Moises our host made me laugh so much from him making from of our accents to taking selfies and dancing for us. He is seriously such an amazing guy and am blessed to have gotten to know him. I also laughed with all the kids all the time. Some of the boys would never stop screaming and that can get old but what are you gonna do, laugh. Kids are just hilarious and even though I can’t understand all that they’re saying I know that it’s funny and they know I’m funny so we laugh. I also learned to laugh when things get hard or don’t get your way or your friend gets a parasite and you have to run during a packed parade to find a bathroom and then learn you have to be a customer so you buy ice cream and while she’s in the bathroom you laugh. Laugh because God is so good and so crazy and when you say yes to him he will take you to amazing places.
Quiet time- God does huge things in the quietness of the morning. He spoke to me ever before and poured out his wisdom on me more than ever. Not being a morning person and waking up at 5:30 in the morning was a real test but the answers God proved and coffee got me through it.
God carried me through from each moment of laughter to moments when silence is a blessing and am so sad it’s over
Overall God is awesome Costa Rica is awesome and I am so blessed to have had this opportunity
