Raising the Bar. Otherwise known as RTB. Are a group of women who love the Lord, and want to serve Him unconditionally. We are currently serving in Malaysia, doing Unsung Heroes. Unsung Heroes is a month when we don’t have a local host or contact. We are out on the field trying to find more contacts to send future racers to uplift and give support to their ministry. We search the internet, email churches and ministries, attend churches, and be out and about in the city meeting people. This month is flexible, and honestly we go where God calls us. But that’s for another blog. Right now, I’m going to introduce you to my team! #RTB
Tallest to shortest… how we got our name.
This is Kelly Anne. She loves adventure. She sweats buckets more than I do. She abhors country music. We share a love for pickles, and get excited when Subway has them! She also can’t do spicy, when I love all the spicy things. She also is the one who has pushed me to get to the root of some of my issues. I like Kelly Anne.
This is Molly. But you already know her. This is her cool sand castle. I like Molly.
This is Cassidy. She loves orange and monkeys. She is a great dancer/rapper, especially when it comes to NF songs. When we go to Nando’s, she can never get what she wants (wings), but we can share a bottle of extra hot peri-peri sauce. She is also a beast when it comes to Unsung Hero work! I like Cassidy.
This is Anna. She is our boss team leader. She likes seaweed. Yup seaweed. She always has a level head and attitude, of course I haven’t seen her mad yet. Every time we eat, I see her always trying new foods. She also drinks coffee every morning. I like Anna.
This is Caitlin. She loves Captain America. She has been my roommate for the last 4 months. We have the ability to have full conversations with pictures and gifs. She is super talented in drawing. She has a way to put things in perspective. She is kinda cool. Ok she is pretty awesome! She also owes the Malaysian Zoo 20000 ringgit for touching 2 animals. She’s a law breaker. I like Caitlin.
This is Bethany. She loves pandas. When I say love, I mean she wants to hug them and keep them forever. She likes vegetables, like a lot! She’s not the greatest at roller skates, but she doesn’t give up! The few talks we have had have been really good! She also sings like an angel, or Adele’s little sister, so that’s fun! I like Bethany. (She didn’t like her picture, and suggested I use this one)
This is Shirletha. She likes everything that I don’t. Kind of kidding, but not really. This is opposites attract situation. She likes people, and talking with just about everyone. She loves being clean. She prays like a boss though! She challenges me to have heart to hearts with her, pushes my issues with commitment, and tries really hard to increase my confidence levels. She also gives me ‘black points’, and tests my knowledge on movies. *just had a passionate lecture on ‘Eat, Pray, Love’* I like Shirletha.
This is Tabitha. She isn’t on our team. She just likes us enough to hang out with us all month. (technically she is a squad leader…) She likes coffee with flowers in it. She is a hipster, but hates to admit it. She also really likes to be awkward, but I’m getting used to it. Maybe. The first time we were together, she fed me Frosted Flakes. She also can study the bible like no one else, especially Ruth. I like Tabitha.
