Today is the Day!!
Well, today is the day!! It’s 12:45 am, and we leave our hotel at 3:45am to depart on a 7:25am plane ride to San Francisco then on to Bangkok arriving at 11:05pm… you can do the math!!
Our team is ready and waiting for God’s hand to be at work. Many of us began this process months ago… and today is the day!! We have been cleansed by the Spirit during training camp and are ready to set sail as transformed children of God. We are challenged daily to commit this day to the Lord… Just like when Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We are called to a daily commitment to follow our Lord and Savior, and we must choose everyday to serve our God. Wouldn’t it be nice when we think our first morning thought be about entrusting our God with our day and choosing to serve Him alone? What a wonderful thought?
I pray that we strive for this on a daily basis.
– God to go before, with, and after us
– God to prepare the hearts of the people to whom we will be ministering
– Team unity – for our eyes to be open to the gifts of our teammates and to seek opportunities to use them
– Leadership – We are broken into four teams, and I will be leading a team of seven.
– Safe travel
