UPDATE: T H A N K   Y O U  to everyone who has donated in the last month+, I am so blessed by all of you and cannot thank you enough for helping me get where I am now. Currently, I need just $950 in order to be fully funded. If you haven’t donated yet, you can do so by clicking the link above. Thank you!

I’m in Malaysia – here’s what happens when I try to buy things on the street ๐Ÿ™‚

{March 1st 2017} Picked up an ice cold mango drink today. Tried the girls berry, and Viv’s sugarcane flavors first – so delicious and sweet. Sipped my mango drink — nope. Definitely NOT mango. Didn’t tell the girls, but convinced them to try it. I’m cruel, but they needed to truly understand my heart.

My 1st market experience and I buy a cold sweetcorn soup/juice. Yup, sweetcorn. Talk about disappointment.

As you can tell I’m thoroughly enjoying my time in Asia already ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve since redeemed myself of my street market experiences and now give that nasty sweetcorn drink a wide berth as a pass by. A plate of rice goes for 25 cents and a bowl of noodles for 75 cents, which makes this the 1st country where I can actually afford to splurge now and again every few days.

We’re living in a Kindergarten this month, and my team will be teaching english. As for me, I’ll be attempting to revive my photography & videography skills and am stepping into the media department for the month! I’m so excited to have the chance to grow in this way, and to finally have access to a DSLR again (praise!) Since we have some wifi this month, I’ll be working on my blogs for the last few months ๐Ÿ™‚ Look for them next week. But for now, check out the photos from Africa!

You can find them on my facebook page!!
