This blog will be dedicated to all the wonderful changes that happened in the pass couple of weeks and a couple of important updates. So without more delay…
Change #1: Team change!
This month I was met with a new team, the willing wanderers. My old team, team starling, was disbanded due to our super small numbers. My new team is full of six other ladies who have met me with grace, love, welcome arms, and understanding hearts. I’m so excited to see what this new group and month will bring!
Change #2: Route Change!
ARE YOU READY?! So in April, I will not be going to Bulgaria but instead will be going to the beautiful and love-needing country of GREECE! I’m so freaking excited! We will be helping with the refugee crisis there. This is an issue that has been near and dear to my heart for a while now and the fact that the lord is calling b-squad proves that his plans are perfect. Financially, this means that as a squad we will need to raise an additional $2,000. The lord is calling us there and so through his followers we will go. If you can’t support us financially (this was/is me when I’m not on the race…), your prayers are needed just as much. I’M GOING TO GREECE, Y’ALL!
Change #3: New Ministry
This month, my team is working with pregnant teens and teen mothers. We are getting to know them, playing games with them, and helping them around the house. This is so much like my job before the race its a little crazy but these girls are teaching me about the walls I’ve put up in my life. This month I can already tell that Jesus is going to bulldoze a few of those down.
Update 1: Funding Goal.
Look up at the top of this page. That is my fundraising goal. I have to be fully funded by April. Please consider taking some time to pray for my financial deadline or giving if you can. The lord is doing such great things here and around the world and I know he will provide.
Update 2: NEW FUNDRAISER—SPONSOR A DAY
I have many days left on this race but would you like one of your very own? For $25, you can sponsor a day on my world race. You can sponsor a day in honor of, in memory of someone, or just because you like the day! To sponsor a day, follow these steps:
1) Go to the link above (“Support me”) and click on it.
2) Donate $25.
3) Send me an email ([email protected]) and tell me what day you would like to sponsor.
4) Wait for that day-ish.
5) Around that day you will receive a post card with a picture I took on it.
Its just that easy!
