It means 'no worries'.. a token phrase here in Kenya that very well describes the attitude of the beautiful people here.
I've been here in Kenya for 3 weeks.. loving the people, strolling the streets, and enjoying every moment.
On Saturday, the reality of the evil in the world really hit me for the first time in the 9 months that I have been on The World Race.

I have had no worries.
Just last week, I wrote a message to someone at home saying how crazy it is that I have not once felt unsafe, or insecure in my environments.
Yesterday I broke down and cried outside on the steps leading up to our Pastors apartment. Two hours from this horrible act of violence that is still taking place in Nairobi. Helpless. It is affecting so many people. This is their goal. That's why it is called terrorism. They aim to cause terror.
I just cannot imagine the feeling that thousands of people had as they were enjoying a nice Saturday in this high end shopping mall, and suddenly gunshots and explosions are surrounding them.
Children, elderly, and pregnant women are among those who had guns pointed directly at them and lost their lives.
A four-year-old boy looked straight at one of the gunmen and said 'You are a bad man!'
There are hostages still being held inside this building… 4 days later.. what is going on in their minds?
People from all over the world, all ages, all walks of life. All innocent people.
I could have so easily been at the mall that day. I planned to go there this weekend and eat at the burger restaurant that my teammates went to and told me about just 2 days before the attack.
My heart breaks for the country of Kenya. These people are beautiful and happy. They are so passionate about unity among all people.
We cannot blame and question why these things happen, all we can do is trust God during these times and pray that He would be glorified over all evil in this world.
My squad and I are all safe for now, and we have many people in the World Race office and here in Africa who are carefully helping to plan the best way for us to continue on to our next country as planned at the end of the month.
Please continue to pray for the people of Kenya, and all of those who are affected by the events at Westgate Mall. Pray for my team and I as we continue to love on the people here, and as we continue on to the next country.
