The World Race – Month 4 – Thailand

What an amazing month! After a crazy three days of travel from Honduras to arrive here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, my team and I were placed at Abba House Foundation which is a home for rescued victims of sex trafficking. The girls from the home are all gone for the holidays, so we were able to teach a small group of nine boys from ages 10-23 English, Worship, and Bible every day. We have all absolutely fallen in love with these boys, and saying goodbye is going to be very difficult. I would bring them all home with me if I could. We also went to visit the Chiang Mai mens prison, which is home to 4,000 male prisoners. I spoke to the Christian group of men about how to love like Jesus. And last week we had the opportunity to go to a drug rehab where I also spoke, and after we finished two of the men accepted Christ. We worked on Unsung Heroes and made contact with many new ministries that may partner with The World Race, and also got to go and tour an orphanage. We have had a lot of great opportunities in ministry this month, and we were also able to go ride elephants, participate in Songkran which is Thailands New Year's 3 day long water festival, go to several night markets and bazaars, and take all of our boys to the Chiang Mai Zoo. We have been extremely blessed this month, and can't wait to see what God has in store for next month in Malaysia!
