'Noone realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and
rests his head on his old familiar pillow.'

Returning from a trip is always the hardest part. There is no way to explain the experiences you have had..
and noone fully understands. I will do my best to give small glimpses into my world through this blog over the next year.

Over Thanksgiving break my family and I travelled to Guatemala to the children's home that we visit often. It was a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving. We were able to see the things that we are truly thankful for, and how much we often take for granted.

Sarai (middle) is the little girl who we have sponsored for 6 years.

{19 DAYS until LAUNCH!}
January 8th I will head to Washington, DC to meet my World Race squad to spend
a few days in preparation for the year, and we will launch for Costa Rica around January 11th.

Question of the month: 'Are you getting nervous?'
No. Not at all..
Should I be? It seems to be the normal thing to do.. I'm excited and anxious to see the wonderful things God is going to do through my team and I. But after being at training camp, surrounded by hundreds of incredible people who share the same passions that I have and are fired up for the Lord and taking his name to the Nations.. I know I will feel at home with my new World Race family no matter where we are. Of course, I will miss my friends and family at home..but I am confident that I am exactly where God wants me to be, so I go with no expectations or regrets!

My parents and friends are hosting a send off party on January 6th at 6:00pm at my parents home. I hope that all friends..family.. and anyone who has supported me on this journey in any way will be there giving me lots of hugs and prayers!
There will be a chili dinner, bonfire, s'mores station,
photo booth, and other fun activitites.

I have set up a paypal account so that people may donate to me personally. Cash or check donations are still greatly appreciated to help with my personal funding. The money I have raised so far went to my World Race account (covering all travel expenses, lodging, etc.) and now I only need funding for personal spending, anything my team may need, or to purchase supplies for my ministry sites. If you have already supported me in any way, please do not feel obligated to donate any more. I am still speechless when people ask how I raised $15,500 in 3 months.. all I can say is God wants me to be on this trip and I am more than willing to GO!
