So just to give you a taste of new life, one of the amazing things I get to do is go to some incredible classes. In one of our classes we briefly discussed the difference in the types of Psalms and their significance. Then we were challenged to write our own. I'm not sure how Psalmy this is, but it was spoken from my heart and I hope it speaks to you:
I am gratful oh Lord.
I am grateful for Your provision and grace,
for Your love and Your cmopassion.
I thank You for how You've called me to this crazy new life
and have equipped me more than I even know.
Though it is overwhelming and beyond anything I would believe I could or should do,
I stand confident that You go before me and are leading me.
Though my path is dark and long,
You go before me as a lamp – sometimes lighting a great distance, sometimes only the next step.
And even if I stumble or fall flat on my face in the eyes of the world,
You are still right beside me – all around me,
leading me, catching me, and quiding me forward.
You are my Father and my heart trusts You.
You are my Father and in You I will never be ashamed.
You are my God and in You I find peace – fulfillment – love – acceptance.
