Another minimal internet month so I apologize for the lack of news. Honduras is awesome! Definitely my favorite country so far – it’s absolutely gorgeous here in the mountains. Our ministry hosts David and Scarleth are a young couple with a great sense of humor and hearts that are absolutely on fire for God. Our main ministry is bringing food and bible lessons to elementary schoolers up the mountain [we’re staying in the valley] – and boy do these kids know their stuff! They know and understand more than I’m sure a lot of people do back home. I did my first bible lesson today – that was definitely Spirit led because I definitely started out with a blank piece of paper and no idea of what to do, and before I knew it I was working out of Matt 13 and Hebrews 11 with a lesson on foundations in faith. There’ll also be another school that we’ll get to visit next week. There’s also a lot of manual labor (finally!!!!!!!!), and I’m sure I’ll be a pro pick-axer before we leave. Doing well, pray for healed toes and feet (Mel Jo and Juan)!
