Hello readers!
What has happened in the last two weeks: At camp: We have had church family camps. There are three Ohio church family camps that come up from Ohio and spend a week a Cedar Campus. Also, we have had more Family Camps. A lot of crew have left to return back home/at school to prepare for whatever is next. There are probably less than 20 crew remaining and more are leaving this week still… good thing this is the last week of full camp. There are a few more “camps” in September though, so that will be interesting… I may get to work in the Kitchen then, we’ll see.
In other news, I got to go home for 6 days last weekend. It was glorious to sleep in most mornings and sleep in my waterbed. While I was home, I attended the Unity Music Christian Festival. It was awesome! I got to worship with other brothers and sisters in the faith outside for four days. Some of the bands/groups that I got to see: Jamie Grace, Thousand Foot Krutch, Big Daddy Weave, Third Day, Britt Nicole, Matthew West, Aaron Shust, Everfound, the Neverclaim, Mandisa, and Steven Curtis Chapman. Sorry I didn’t blog last Sunday per usual… I was making the drive from Muskegon to Cedarville… I took about 7 hours to drive it because I stopped a lot to just stretch and what not.
Update about fundraising: I have raised/pledged close to $6,000 at this point… Praise God! I still have a little over $8,000 left to raise. God has and will continue to provide funds for me to embark on this World Race. I am looking at having t-shirts and calendars made as fundraisers. I will post pictures of both when I get the details wrinkled out.
I will leave you with a saying that is on one of my new t-shirts that I acquired at Unity. #GOD is Greater: than any problem ,failed plan, debt, disease, army, or mountain, standing in your way; with God nothing is impossible; Luke 1:37.
Keep Lookin’ Up,
Misha
