Sometimes ministry is cleaning toilets.
If someone told me this before I started the race I wouldn’t believe them. But its true.
This week my team and I had house ministry and had to clean the bathrooms. I don’t like cleaning bathrooms but when 30 plus girls use the same two bathrooms it has to be done.
Usually this wouldn’t be so bad but people were sick with a stomach virus. So they had us deep clean the bathrooms.
All I could think of while doing this is that I’m serving the squad and that is how I’m serving the Lord. This made my task so much easier to bear and I could tell that even though it isn’t something I like to do its a form of ministry.
So sometimes the things that aren’t your favorite things to do is the way God wants you to minister to others. Even in the most mundane tasks He wants you to do it joyfully and know that he is there in that job too.
