This past Saturday I was asked to teach Sabbath school and the theme of the lesson was simplify. Reading the lesson just confirmed what God has been telling me ever since I was accepted on the race. He wants me to sell my stuff and have complete faith that He will provide for everything that I need.
While studying the lesson there was one verse that stood out to me.
“Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.“
Acts 4:32 – 37
While reading this passage I couldn’t help but think of everyone who has been supporting me. Whether it was through their time, hard earned money, prayers or encouragement, you were part of God’s provision! And none of these sacrifices you made went unnoticed by God or me! And I believe that He is going to bless you all in some way!
I left this post “Untitled” because it’s not about me, it’s about all of you who have made sacrifices to help me 🙂
I am only $1,500 away from meeting my December 23rd deadline! Can you believe it?! God has been providing so much it’s amazing!
Thanks again to everyone who has been helping me!
