Towards the last few days of camp we had a session where we went up to another squad member who had their eyes close and had them say what God was telling them about us.
The person I chose was someone I have never really talked to, but God was telling me to go to them. While we were standing there they told me that God was telling them that He has entrusted me with something! This was so encouraging because at the time I was questioning if this was something God really wanted me to do. Knowing that He trusts me and has entrusted me, a sinner, with something special just blows my mind! He chose me, the shy, quiet girl who hides in the back! Why He has entrusted me and with what I have no idea, but I am so willing to find out over the next year.
They also told me that they see hope. I’m not sure if this means that I am hopeful, or that I’m going to (or do) bring hope to others, but I know that God has it all planned out. And they saw a tree bearing much fruit and that I was that tree. This was really encouraging because I wasn’t sure how useful I am going to be on this trip. If God says that I am going to bear fruit then that means I will be useful!
I can’t wait to see when and how these prophecies are going to come true!
