I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:13

While I was driving home today I saw a complete rainbow! As soon as I saw it, I couldn't help but think about how God always keeps His promises.
While I was thinking about this I heard Him saying, "See how faithful I am? I keep my promise to not flood the earth again, why wouldn't I keep my promises to you?"
It's true why wouldn't He keep His promise to provide for my every need? Why should I stress out about raising funds when He's here keeping His promise to provide for what He has called me to do?

And He has been providing!
When I got home I was thinking about checking my account to see if any new donations came in, but it just didn't seem right. I feel like I have been checking it too much. But I heard God telling me to go ahead and check it, so I did. I am so glad that I did! In just 3 days my account went up $125! God is really answering my prayers and I know that He is answering those of my team too!
Another way He kept His promise was at the bake sale I had this Sunday. I made $188! God even provided the food for me to sell! All of the cookies and brownies that I had out were made by a wonderful woman in my church! She even packaged them up really cute! I didn't even tell her that I was having a bake sale! God is so good!
One of the highest amounts donated came from a couple who didn't look "Christian". When I told them about the World Race and what I was going to do, they were so supportive and excited that I was going to be doing the Lord's work, it was amazing. God just proved to me that He doesn't care about what is on the outside, He cares about what is in our hearts and our love for Him.
…for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
1 Samuel 16:7
I am so thankful for those who stopped that day and supported me!
I would like to give a HUGE thank you to those who have been praying and donating!
Please continue to pray for me and my team, and that we will meet our first deadline of $3,500.
