Thomas my contact here in Malaysia told me that once he left for a missions trip with a few cents in his pocket. He didn't know what he would be doing or how he would be taken care of but he knew God wanted him there. Sure enough the Lord provided. A friend ran up to him right before he left and handed him a whole wod of cash
One of Thomas's many ministries is to pick up the Children who sign up for classes that he offers. He told me that most times he cant afford the gas. He'll leave on empty and pray to God he makes it. He does!
Thomas told us that its not giving when you have that matters its giving when its all you have that truly matters
It's true
This family is incredible
They live there lives for God, sacrificing everything. Seriously, they give everything to the people around them. They give everything to us, people they have just met and not only that they welcome us in their home and call us family
They give, yet they have nothing.
They are truly selfless in everything they do.
They live a lifestyle i have always wanted.
They are the most beautiful people i have ever met.
They live simple lives, no money, no fancy cars or clothes, no big houses, or lots of toys
Their days are not planned out and their bank account is not filled. They have no back up plan just incase plan A doesn't work out
They don't need it !
They live day by day relying on the Lord and he comes through….everytime!
Leaving for the worldrace and experiencing a little bit of what Thomas and his family actually live is truly inspiring
Since I have left I have heard "Miranda, I wish i could do what you did, Just give up everything and leave everything behind."
You can!
There is adventure waiting for you
Ohhh jeaseeee, God is waiting to give you more. He's waiting to give you your purpose
seriously, you have no idea how incredible he is.
Maybe you are meant to sell your home or open your home to people who need a place to stay
Maybe you are meant to work with homeless people, drug addicts, or prostitutes
Maybe start your own ministry, dance studio, orphanage, or animal shelter
Maybe you are meant to live in Cambodia or California or maybe your meant to stay where you are
I have no idea but there is treasure found in giving up everything
Give up your own comfort and security and let him take care of you…It's freedom!
There is purpose found in Gods will.
