I have super exciting news as far as next month's ministry goes. But I want to start out by sharing how God started preparing my heart week two into Honduras for this upcoming month.
As I sat at IMFA singing the worship song, a young boy was running around so utterly joyful coming up to each person while a huge smile on his face. This boy was mentally handicapped but all I could notice was his joy. He ran up the ramp quite wobbly and I thought to myself, how awesome would it be if our squad prayed for him and he was healed. And I started to get super pumped thinking we are gonna heal him. But God's sweet, sweet whisper entered my mind filling me with the words, "he is perfect. He doesn't need healing. This is exactly how I created him." And I was stunned. I thought but his life isn't fair. People will make fun of him. And as a million more thoughts flooded towards God he patiently listened and reassured me that I will never know His entire will, but I can trust it.
So with all that being said I am so excited to announce that in Guatemala we will be working with a special needs orphanage and school. Please start praying for Joy Filled Homes International. Thank you all so much for all your support.I
