Oh Man.

It's happening—-> Application. Application Fee. Interview. ACCEPTANCE.

July is so close. And I'm so excited. Every day that goes by literally makes this all keep coming to life. It's real. I'm already talking to people that I'll be spending the next year of my life with. Oh Facebook 🙂

Honduras. Nicaragua. Costa Rica. Philippines. Thailand. Cambodia. India. Nepal. Kenya. Uganda. Rwanda.

These are the places I'll go. Lord only knows the people I'll meet.

If you explore the World Race website (www.theworldrace.org) you'll get such a great picture of what goes on for these 11 months. I'm sure I'll get asked a million times what various ministries I'll be involved with. Well, let's just say that the range is vast and the specifics uncertain. I know that I'll be rebuilding and tearing down, squeezing little orphans to pieces, teaching about God's love and words, plant churches, minister to women and children in the middle of human traffiking, build relationships with complete strangers, and so much more.

I'll be on a squad with a total of anywhere from 40-60 people. From this, I will be on a team of 6-8 people of whom I will live with 24/7. The entire squad travels to each country at the beginning of the month. From there, we then disperse throughout the country assigned to various ministries.

This is a big, big world. Challenges lie ahead, and I'm most certain God has me where he wants me. I've read countless blogs about how unpleasant moments of the race can be. However, there is always a but. A but that begins with a lesson learned, a revealing of the nature of God. How he is Provider, how he is Strength.

Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to type in my little web address to check out this page. If you so desire, please sign up to get email updates when I write a new post. This will definitely be the direct route to hear from me and my crazy experiences on the field. I promise, my dramatic self won't let you down 🙂
