Benny V Is a friend of mine from the World Race. He is a wild and crazy man, and challenges me in a lot of ways. This spring when I was in Africa and he was in Haiti, we started chatting online, about a lot of random stuff. When we get started talking about dreams and ideas it can get pretty crazy. Anyway, I suggested that we do something awesome together this fall or winter, and Benny is like, ……. “hmmmmm OK”. So the rest has just developed into this.
I don’t know Ben, Brandon, and Nic very well yet. But I have seen glimpses of there heart. They are all from very different back rounds, and are all in very different places in life. When Benny and I started talking about bringing some younger guys on this trip, there was a lot of interest shown, but not everybody was able to go. One of the biggest reasons that these guys are here is that, they pursued us to be on this trip. And more importantly we have seen there desire to pursue God.
