Well our ministry here in Cambodia has been a lot different
then anything else we have done yet. Originally my team was supposed to go to a
more remote village, but that fell thru before we even got here. After that we
had about six other ministry contacts fall thru.

Now this is pretty strange for this to happen, so we started
to pray and ask God exactly what he wanted us to be doing here. He gave us all
a peace to stay here in Phnom Penh, and very specifically led us to a house
about three or four blocks from where we are staying. The house has a business
out front on the sidewalk where they sell rice and different things. There are
a few different families represented there. We have been able to spend time
with them and build a relationship with them, especially with a 17 year old boy
named Dara. He knows basic English, so we were able to talk. Several days after
we first met, we went back for a visit, and neither Dara nor his mother were
there. The other ladies said that there had been an accident and Dara’s younger
brother had died the day before. Now I definitely don’t think that it was an
accident that God brought us into these peoples lives at this time. We have
been able to visit and encourage them thru this hard time. What’s really cool
is that because of the friendship that we have developed, we were able to
invite Dara to a youth service at the local church, and he got to hear a solid
salvation message in his own language. Please pray that God would speak to him
and that he would be drawn to the church were there is Godly people that care
about him.

We took a boat ride on the river one evening, and this was
the sunset.
