Dear Reader,

                Graduating with the class of 2016, I often find myself looking back on my life when I was younger. my memories are of my mother planting the seed of salvation as we went o many mission trips together. Growing up with a strong Christian background, I’ve always felt a calling to reach the unreachable. for as long as I can remember I’ve always dreamed of one day fulfilling the calling God’s leading me towards. As life went on it seemed my calling my calling wasn’t going to happen,I drilled in my head to be the perfect college athlete. Recently God changed my way of envisioning my future.

A few months ago I was informed about the World Race: Gap year, which is a program where people 18-22 years of age travel around the globe to three countries, for a total of 9 months. Spending three months in each country. I never in a million years thought God would give me such great opportunity to take my next step and trust completely in Him.

I will start off in Central America, spending time with the locals in Guatemala, jump across the globe to the only country landlocked in South Africa, Lesotho, and finish up my journey in Southeast Asia to spend time in Cambodia.On this journey, I will have a team of people my age, who had the same dream as I did and are just as eager to serve God’s people.From orphanages to ministering to people stuck in human trafficking, God will allow us to heal the broken and plant the seed in them just as my mother did for me.

First I would like to ask for your prayers. I would not be able to do this without the helping hand of God. I would also like to ask for your support financially, as I raise $14,000. I can not do this by myself. As i take my next step into this God-given journey, I’m trusting God 100% that He will provide every single financial need I may face. Thank you so much for your support. I am so excited to see what God has planned for me.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
