I want to share with everyone in my life something amazing that happened last week. We had just got done teaching and our contact was making some announcements and just chatting with us about many things. When he decided to pray for us. Now let me give you some insight on our contact. He has been described as highly prophetic and many teams have experienced the work of the Holy Spirit in his life. So now he starts praying for us as a group and then he starts to pray for Robert giving words of life and prophecy and the next person and the next person. He finally gets to me (2nd to last) and starts his prayer. I can’t give you word for word but I can give you some highlights and explain how they line up with things already spoken over my life. So here it goes.
- Called into full time ministry. (I knew this in 7th grade when God told me that once I gave Him my life, it would be ALL of my life.)
- I will be a pastor.
- This has been spoken over me twice before and many times in passing by squad mates.
- I already know this.
- He seriously said that Dad told him that I already know the things he just said. True, these things have been spoken over me before and I knew it was truth. You can’t run away from the will of Dad, if you really want to live for Him.
- I will be an assistant pastor, then…
- I will have a congregation of my own.
- Something significant will happen in my ministry in 3 years.
- I will bridge the gap between the old and young.
- Wide variety of age in the congregation
- My words will be easy to understand/relatable by all ages
- People would feel accepted when they come to me.
- I would be able to pass on the things I already know.
- I am called to a higher standard
- Holiness in practice
- Send out missionaries from the church in groups
- Numbered in 4, 6, and 10
So there it is, some really awesome things spoken over my life. Now I know and it has been declared here. I have confirmation from Dad, spoken out loud, that I am going to be a pastor. So that’s what I’m going to do after the race. I don’t know how or what I’m supposed to do to get there. But I’m still not worried. Dad will open the doors to what I’m supposed to do and how I’m supposed to get there. I’m going to be a Pastor!
