Hello World. It’s been a few weeks and it has been a super busy week for me in the logistics department. Our SQ just had a mini-debrief in KL, MAL. Our current SQL’s have risen up new SQL’s and we have had team changes. We are now operating with 5 teams. Meet my new team: Aslan. TL: Lesley, TT: Paige, Shelley, Krista, Fiona, Robert, and Myself. I could not be happier to be embarking into the next few months with my new teammates who are already my family. Before they were apart of my extended family and was excited to see them at our family reunions (debrief) but now they have been adopted into my immediate family and I get to pour into them and have them pour into me 24/7. I can’t wait to see what Dad does with us in this place and how He is going to work.
This month will be a very short month. We arrived at our destination mid-afternoon on Friday. For very real reasons I can’t go into specific detail, but I can tell you what we are doing on a broad scale. We will be here 3 weeks before returning for a full debrief and our SQL’s Pat and Alicia will be leaving us to make the rest of this journey truly our own. My team is at a teaching center where we will be teaching English to locals. This month is all about love. This country has very strict rules about certain religions and therefore we have very strict ways of presenting ourselves and sharing our lives. Like I mentioned in my previous post, even though I am on a new team, we will still be presenting Love (Ahabah).
Please continue to talk to Dad on our behalf and lift our team up for continued growth and community. More details can be shared over email when I get to my next country. So, if you would like more specifics on what we are doing, comment or shoot me an email. Regulation and monitoring prevents us from being so very open. And please don’t post anything anywhere if you have information about what we are doing. Respect us and respect our friend we are working with here in MAL.
