Training camp was last week and it was awesome. I flew into Atlanta and met up with some of U squad and we made our way to "nowhere" Georgia. We registered, setup camp, and went to a session. That first night's worship and message was incredible. I won't get into detail here but He worked in me and told me I was going to change to X squad. After session U squad men stayed behind to pray about moving to X squad. We needed 2-3 people to change over. When everyone started to pray I went up to Bill to let him know that I was switching. Two more men were called to make the move.
The week goes on and through various tasks, worship, squad and team building, God rocked my life. My squad became my family in a day. Thursday we found out our teams and I couldn't be happier. God is good and knows what he is doing. We learned a LOT of information that changed the way I think, grew my relationship with God and blew my mind. Someone told the story of how a bamboo plant develops underground for a time and then one day sprouts from the ground in full form and grows in feet each day. This is how I felt this week. All my life has been developing inside and I've learned a lot, but this week God watered my spirit and I grew up tall.
When we finally got done with training camp we were at the airport and it hit me. I am leaving to the nations in 6 weeks! Awesome! Also, since I moved to a different squad now I will no longer be going to China, Romania, or Ukraine. I will now be going to Dominican Republic, Haiti and Puerto Rico.
