Dear Family and Friends,
For the past two years God has been tugging at my heart, and it took me a long time to find the direction in which he was leading me. This direction will give glory to God and make whatever I do in the future be centered on Him. God has called all of us to follow him and to live out his word through our everyday lives. Before I begin my future career of becoming a veterinarian or anything else, I believe that I should give myself fully to God: by laying down the comfortable and living with the uncomfortable, by dropping traditions and creating revivals, and by forgetting myself and remembering the one who made me. I will do these things by following the word of God through missions.
This mission is called the “World Race” and it is run by (AIM) Adventures in Missions. The World Race takes on the challenge of traveling through 11 different countries in 11 months. In each country we will be ministering, building, teaching, creating relationships, and this will all be possible through our lord Jesus Christ. Adventures in Missions strive to bring the gospel to the nations by making disciples and sending them into the mission fields.
I am excited about going on this trip because for the first time in my life I will be able to lay down everything and follow God to the ends of the earth. A long time ago I was told that not everyone can be a missionary, but ultimately God has called all of us to be missionaries in our careers and across the world. To be a missionary across the world it requires funds, and that’s why I’m writing this letter to you asking if you could support me in bringing the gospel to 11 different countries. I must raise $15,500 in order to go on the World Race, which covers all of my expenses on the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donations, wherein you choose the amount and the beginning and end date. If 100 people pledge $10 for 12 months that would almost cover the costs of the trip. This amount can seem daunting to most, and this is something everyone should pray about. This journey will bring me closer to God and allow me touch the lives of people that have probably never heard the name Jesus. Statistics show that 1 billion people on this earth have never even heard the name Jesus and that doesn’t include the amount of people that do not believe in Jesus. With almost 4.5 billion people without Christ we see that the “harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” I ask you the farmers to support one of your workers as he goes into the harvest to bring glory to the creator of all living things.
